Dyes, Fishes and a Little Bit of Chocolate Samples

8 GAMMA KUALA LUMPUR CLASS TRIP

Hey guys! How's it going? We, Marble, Pecan and Fudge, had our first class trip of this year on the 22nd of June and we would like to share our adventure to the Batik Factory and the KLCC Aquarium with you fellow Dreamers out there! :)

KLCC TWIN TOWERS

We left school at 8.00 a.m and we had reached Kuala Lumpur at about 8.50 a.m. We intended to reach the city at 9.30 a.m but we were earlier than expected. Since we were early by an hour, we stopped by the Chocolate Gallery, down the road from the Batik Factory.

The lady working there gave us a mini tour around the gallery, explaining and briefing us with facts about chocolate along the way. She also gave us samples of many different types of chocolate they make there. We also tried this chilli chocolate, and here's our reactions to it:

We then proceeded to have a one minute drive to the Batik Factory. Again, we were earlier than expected for the batik workshop, so we all just walked around the gift shop. It had many things, such as clothes, accessories, pens and so on. As time flew, it was finally time to do our workshop.

Pretty cool, right? Yeah. It's not exactly as easy as it looks.

Anyways, after our fun yet frustrating time of attempting the blend the colours together, we were finally headed off to the highlight of the trip, (Fudge thinks that the chocolate gallery was the highlight of the trip but whatever.) the KLCC Aquaria!

Piranha tank
Next up was the KLCC Aquaria! Before that, we ate lunch with Ms Daphne, our class teacher. After lunch, we all head into the mini land of sea creatures. Once we entered, we quickly rushed to the tank filled with Piranhas which got most of the attention. Later on, we went to watch an otter, name, Nina who got fed with vegetables. "It's even healthier than all of us."-Fudge

After watching an otter eating healthy, we went to many mini tanks to watch fishes, shrimps and other sea animals perform their daily jobs in their tanks. After staring at random tanks, we went into a mini tunnel which was an amazing little adventure for the threesome. "Why isn't the walkalator working? I'm so lazy." -Marble
After our mini adventure in a tunnel, we watched sharks being fed by professional divers. The kind staff working there gave us an explanation on sharks which made us feel smarter. We then went for a little bit of shopping. Squeals could be heard from outside the shop as we all fangirl over every single cute plush toy we see.

It was about 3:15p.m. when we make our trip back to school. After a tiring day of painting and experiencing new things, we finally made it back. We all had a lot of fun on this trip and hope to have more adventures like this in the future.

See ya' later, alligator!
